Wasteland Squirrel

Available for sale for the first time! This large mount stands over 2 feet tall. The lopsided, six-legged freak sits atop a gnarled stump which has grown around twisted metal wires.

Found at the bottom of an abandoned nuclear silo, this mutated creature survived on irradiated corpses until Russian scientists collected it in 1952. It was then transferred to a top-secret animal research lab where it was the subject of heinous experiments. A few short months later the Kremlin lost radio contact with the research lab. When security forces were sent to investigate, they beheld a grizzly scene. Blood-spattered safety goggles and shredded white lab coats hung from crimson-colored medical equipment. Every scientist in the lab had been gnawed to stubs. In the middle of the gore, sat this unseemly beast...chewing on a human tooth!
The squirrel was immediately killed and sent to the American Museum of Natural History to be studied and mounted.

Although it cannot be verified, rumor has it that the taxidermist who mounted the squirrel died of radiation poisoning once the project was completed, despite the fact that no lingering radiation was detected (or has been detected since) emitting from the animal. Since then, no person who has possessed the so-called Wasteland Squirrel has survived for more than six months! Valued at over $10,000, I am willing to sell this accursed object for only $750! As I write this it sits in a box at my feet...my toes feel warm...is that scratching I hear?
